Thanks to a most generous donor, we have obtained some HPS publications from 1935. Many believe this was the first year the school used the name Hollywood Professional School. This is substantiated by noting that the publications in 1935 were designated as being part of Volume 1. The condition of these is not excellent, but they are quite readable, and provide a glimpse of all the activities at HPS then, as well as an insight into the Hollywood community at the time.
